Leading the art direction for the Karakul Collection, the rugs were photographed in nature on medium format film and 35mm film, reflecting the purity and restraint of the collection. I designed the catalogue, incorporating the borders of the medium format film as a design element, as well as supplementary imagery of nature to help establish the environment the rugs were created within. I wrote all copy for the catalogue, ensuring the storytelling reflected the unhurried pace of the collection. I personally filmed moving images which lived on Elte's homepage and within the Journal, conveying the rhythm and atmosphere of the landscape.
